Several Things
There are only 2 ways to look at my last post. Either YouTube is run by a bunch of Republicans or Comedy Central doesn’t like their videos making their way to YouTube. I’m sure it’s the latter of the two. That video was hilarious though for anyone who saw it.
I woke up this morning feeling pretty good, but for some reason it took me about 2 hours to get myself out of bed. I think it is the weather. What is this like day 15 out of the last 16 that we have had rain? It’s unbelievable. I’m sure Hurricane Ike will bring even more rain our way…sweet! Speaking of rain, well maybe this doesn’t have anything to do with the rain, but I think it does… I noticed a few white mushrooms (no, white mushrooms is not “official”) growing in my backyard last night. They were pretty small at that point. So I looked out there this evening, the things are like a foot tall already! I have decided to let them grow as long as possible. I’ll keep you updated on this story…if they get much taller, I’ll post some pictures of them.
Once I finally got up this morning, I got some food and actually accomplished quite a bit. I have my big “Head to Toe Assessment” this week, so I made flashcards over every item on the assessment. I have begun to actually figure out how everything fits together now. I need volunteers who don’t have a problem with me assessing nearly every inch of their body for 45 minutes. Any takers? I need the practice!
Beside my big assessment I have to do on Thursday, I just have one other test next week. I’m ready to get Foundations and Assessment over with. Pharmacology is in full gear now too, but I’m honestly not sure what other classes start up when Foundations and Assessment end. Either way, the end of these classes means the start of clinicals, so I am excited about that!
Go Tigers tomorrow! MIZ-ZOU! I wish I was going down to tailgate and for the game like I was originally planning on…I think I’m making a smart decision school-wise though. Meh, my life sucks right now…
And finally, Geraldo gets owned by Hurricane Ike…
